Itinerary

Meet your guide at the Port or Airport to begin your Moroccan adventure from Tangier to Marrakech, heading towards Chefchaouen. Journey through the scenic Rif Mountains, taking in the stunning views. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, enjoy a free afternoon to explore this picturesque blue and white town. Overnight in a local Riad or Hotel.

Depart for Fes, passing through various villages in the Rif Mountains. Visit Volubilis, an archaeological site with well-preserved Roman ruins and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Meknes to see the famous Bab el-Mansour gates and Moulay Ismail Tombs. After lunch, proceed to Fes for an overnight stay in a local Riad in the Medina.

Explore the oldest city in Morocco with a guided tour. Walk through its alleys and streets, visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, Al Karaouine University, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Overnight stay in the Medina.

Travel through Ifrane, a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, enjoying the beautiful forests, rock faces, and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Midelt, known for its fossils and apples. Continue to Merzouga via Ziz Valley and Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and stay in a local hotel near the dunes.

After breakfast, visit the Gnawa people in Khamlia village to learn about their music and lifestyle. Drive through the Sahara desert area to meet nomad families living in Berber tents. Enjoy a local meal (Berber pizza) for lunch. In the afternoon, return to the hotel where your camel will be ready for a trek. Guided by an experienced camel handler, trek for about 1.5 hours to reach the camp in the dunes. Enjoy the sunset and stargazing. Dinner will be served at the camp.

Wake up early to witness an unforgettable sunrise before trekking back to the village by camel. After breakfast and a shower at the Riad, leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Have lunch in the gorge, then drive through the Dades Valley, known for its sand castles and unique rock formations called "monkey toes." Overnight in a traditional guest house with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route offers numerous photographic opportunities. Meet Berber Nomads in their caves, enjoy the Rose Valley, and see the rock formations along the way. Stop at Kalaat M’gouna, "the rose city," to buy rosewater. Visit Kasbah Amridil in Skoura. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and stay in a local hotel or Riad.

Continue the journey to Marrakech, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Stop to visit or take pictures of the movie studios in Ouarzazate. Visit the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel over the highest road pass in North Africa, reaching Marrakech in the afternoon.

Start the day with a local guide, exploring the highlights of Marrakech including the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, El Bahia Palace, and Djemaa el Fna square and souk. After lunch, visit the Majorelle Garden. Return to your hotel afterward.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight, concluding your 10-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech.
