Itinerary

We will pick you up from your Hotel or Riad in the so-called scientific city “Fes” driving southwards to Ifrane and Azrou by the Middle Atlas Mountains, we will stop at cedar forest just to have a so short walk and see the monkeys “ape”. After, we continue our route via Tizi Ntalghamt pass to join the city of Midelt, then we leave Midelt towards Errachidia. We will have our lunch in Errachidia and we continue our journey through the Ziz valley passing through Erfoud, Rissani and finally getting to Merzouga. After a glass of “Berber whiskey” mint tea, we say a temporary goodbye to the Hotel and getting prepared to take camels to immerse in nomadic lifestyle in the desert. Camel trekking takes about 1hr 30 min from the hotel to the Oasis where we will spend over night, sleep in tents. After dinner we gather around fire enjoying the desert night atmosphere and entertain ourselves with Berber instruments playing desert style music. For calm and nature lovers they can go for a walk on dunes .  

Wake up early dawn to see the beauty of sunrise in the desert. Subsequently, you take camels back to the hotel. After having breakfast and shower, you have free day around, you will have a unique opportunity to visit Gnaoua village “ black people” originated and derived from Mali, Niger, Burkinafasso. They will entertain you with their authentic instruments. After spending a worthwile moment with Gnaoua, we drive to Rissani city to see the largest market of the region. People from all surrounding areas accede to this city to buy their life requirements. Lunch in this city “Rissani”. Afterwards, we go back to Merzouga to sunset’s camel trek .  

After breakfast in hotel, we collect our luggage and getting ready to say goodbye to Merzouga driving towards Todra Gorges to discover the magic streams running permanently with water. After the visit of Todra gorges, then we continue our way to Dades valley enjoying the nature landscape of gorges. Spend Over night in hotel .  

After having breakfast in the hotel, we will drive through Dades Valley heading to Kelaat M’gouna and Ouarzazate. Within our route towards Kelaat M’gouna we will see a lot of Kasbahs which were historically used as the houses of valuable, famous families in the ancient times. After the rose’s valley, we pass through Skoura village, continuing to Ouarzazat “the Hollywood of Africa” where we will visit Cinema Studio. Moreover, we keep going till reaching the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco. We take lunch there.After visiting this UNESCO matrimonial historical monument, we continue our trip via the charming pass of Tizi N Tichka (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains. During the pass we will enjoy panoramic views of the landscape seeing farmers working in their farms and we will also see them herding their animals. Additionally, we will have chance to visit argan, olive oil cooperatives. Then continue our journey to Marrakech

No, you don’t need a sleeping bag, at our 4-day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, you will stay at an equipped desert camp with all amenities.

Yes, for travelers who don’t like to go on camels, we use a 4×4 car to transfer them to and from the camp, without any extra charge as well. You just need to inform us at the time of booking.

To confirm the 4-Day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams. Is it possible to pay the entire with PayPal? Usually, we request the balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution. We can in some cases accept the complete payment via Paypal however a 5% fee is going to be applied to hide the additional transaction charges. just in case you’re considering this method, it’s best to rearrange the payment before the tour.
