Itinerary

We meet you in your riad / hotel then we head south to see the beautiful city of Ifrane and we pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou and Here we will stop at the cedar forests to see monkies as well as to have some pictures. Subsequently, we drive via Tizi Ntalghamt pass to the city of apple “Midelt” and we will continue our way to discover the magnificent Ziz Gorges. As long as we pass the city of Midelt, you will see the characteristics of the desert as we approach the city of Errachidia. Here we will have a break for lunch then we continue our trip via Ziz Valley to join Erfoud, Rissani and finally arrive to our destination Merzouga. After a short break having a glass of mint tea, leaving our luggage in the Hotel and getting ready to take a camel ride to spend over night in Berber camp in the heart of Erg Chebbi Dunes which are the highest sand dunes in North Africa. We will get into Berber tents after 2 hours of camel trekking. The tents are well equipped with all requirements you will need. Once we have dinner we will surround a bonfire and enjoy traditional Berber drums as well as Berber funny riddles .

We will get up early to join the magic sunrise on dunes then getting back to the hotel by camels. Once we arrive to our hotel, we will have a delicious berber breakfast and get prepared to leave Merzouga towards Tinghir to have a look on Todra Gorges. In our way to Todra gorges we will pass through numerous small Berber villages Jerf, which is a small city well know by palm trees, Mellaab, Tinjdad. We will drive up a bit further to Dades gorges passing through a fabulous sight made of mountains formed like monkey-fingers, and set off to see the panoramic view of Dades gorges road, and finally arrive in Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend over night .  

Having breakfast and we start our journey crossing the authentic Dades Valley to Kalaat M’gouna ( the capital or rose) and Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Within our route in Dades Valley, we will have a great chance to see thousand of abandoned Kasbahs. We will visit the Roses valley and Skoura village, and then continue to Ouarzazate. After visiting the Hollywood city and Taourirt Kasbah we will go ahead to enjoy lunch at the famous, largest Kasbah in Morocco “Ait Benhaddou Kasbah”.This latter is registered by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful monuments in Morocco. Moreover, many movies have been taken in this Kasbah. After touring this UNESCO World Heritage site, our journey will continue via the charming Tizi N’Tichka pass. Within our being through this pass, we will halt for a while to enjoy the panoramic views as well as we will visit the Argan oil cooperatives. At the end we will be arrived in Marrakech.
